Thiol-Reactive Solid Supports for Conjugation of Cysteine-Containing Proteins	Thiol-reactive solid supports for site-specific, irreversible conjugation of cysteine-containg proteins are useful for applications such as affinity chromatography, immunoprecipitation and ELISA. This technical survey reviews the popular attachment chemistries of iodoacetyl and maleimide groups and catalogs commercially available products.
Removal of Contaminants from Polyhistidine-tagged Proteins	The co-purification of contaminating metal binding proteins is a common challenge with the purification of polyhistidine-tagged proteins by immobilized metal ion affinity chromatography (IMAC). Approaches for reducing contamination include the cleavage of the target protein from the polyhistidine tag, the use of special E. coli strains, or the use of depletion resins.
Polyol Responsive Antibodies and Antibody Mimetics	Polyol-responsive antibodies and antibody mimetics enable the gentle and rapid purification of proteins and protein complexes. This class of immunoaffinity reagents release antigen when exposed to an alcohol containing multiple hydroxyl groups such as propylene glycol or glycerol.
