Composition

Methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate

33 % (vol:vol)

Apple Juice

Note 

Add the agar to the water and microwave to dissolve.  Add the sucrose and methyl-4-hydroxybenzoate to the juice and microwave to dissolve.  Combine the microwaved mixtures and mix.  Pour ~8 ml per 60 x 15 mm petri dish.  Store up to ~6 weeks at 4°C in a sealed box.
